It has most definitely been an interesting season for the NFL so far this year. While today’s focus is to look at some of the shutout victories and losses week to week, I’ll also throw in the added bonus of an updated look at the week’s games as well.
San Fransisco 49ers v LA Rams 28-0: Boy, this year could really be going a lot differently for the Rams but interestingly enough they responded to a trouncing divisional loss by beating the other two teams in their division back to back and being tied for the lead with the vaunted Seahawks.
New England Patriots v Houston Texans 27-0: Down not one but two quarterbacks, missing Gronk and other key players, who would’ve thought the Pats could turn it up from eleven to twelve? They went on a roll and steamrolled over the Texans in an embarrassing loss for the latter.
Buffalo Bills v New England Patriots 16-0: As impressive as it is that even a Brady-less New England team was shutout, it is even more so due to the fact it happened at home for the first time since 1993. How’s that for a statement for the formerly floundering Bills and for Rex Ryan to boot?
