My March Madness vs. Reality

So, I know this year’s March Madness NCAA Tourney is almost as messed up as last year’s, if not more so, yet I am still relatively unscathed for the most part in my own bracket. Sure, I’ve had a lot of mess-ups as well, and I can see more down the road- as the few teams I’ve missed out on thus far already mess up my final tallies, but I’m definitely still doing well compared to my compatriots in the specific game pool I’ve found myself in. Today’s blog has to deal with my projected statistics for the games thus far compared with what has in fact actually occurred. So, without any more comments, I’m going to go ahead and start off with my bracket as it was here.

Well, I know this tournament is far from over, and we’ve got some more games to play yet- but here are my picks thus far and how I think things may swing. I’ve noticed my bracket numbers really starting to slip now, but I’ve done fairly decent thus far, which is all I can ask for. So, let’s see how things roll. Obviously tonight’s games messed a few things up, but for the most part- at least until the FF and Final itself, I’m pretty well set up strategically. So, I’ll leave it to you and update this as we go. Night folks.

Also, as an updated caveat or note sort of thing- if I picked the wrong team (meaning another one won a former game) but the team they replaced was picked to win the game, I’m not counting it against my overall record at the moment, because that’s sort of double jeopardy. After all, I’ll be doing a final tally after the tournament ends anyways, so there you have it.

Well, with some technicalities here for alternate picks, my bracket wasn’t too destroyed, but as it is, I’m not entirely happy with the outcome of the final four and final games. Oh well, personal preferences aside, here’s my final tally from each section: 55-11.
