My GIO 30/30- Day Twenty-Seven

[As Read on GIO.]

[Titled: Anticipation Builds]

No, this blog is not in fact about Ghosts, rather about some upcoming game releases instead that I am quite excited for. Sorry if the logo fooled you there. Today’s blog will be a quick little ditty as well, but no worries. Let us start:

1] Watch Dogs

Really, need I say more? This hacker/shooter looks like a modern day take on the Assassin’s Creed series in many ways, and is developed by the same developer. What more could you want from Ubisoft?

2] Beyond: Two Souls

Honestly, this adventure looks to be one of the bigger ones of the year, and also maybe one of the most underappreciated and underrated ones as well. After all, I’ve loved absolutely everything I’ve seen so far…

3] Batman: Arkham Origins

Everything about Origins is looking just as good or better than City right now, and AC was a pretty awesome game. Sure, not much has seemed to really change, but in such a winning formula, why replace what isn’t broken?

4] Dying Light

We haven’t seen too much of it yet, sure, but from what I’ve witnessed thus far, this Dead Island-like game is sure to be a blast, especially since it seems to combine the best of Dead Island and Mirror’s Edge.

5] Murdered: Soul Suspect

Personally, this is probably my most heavily anticipated game as of right now. I mean, the story and gameplay just sound so promising, and its not even fair to the competition. Sure, there’s some big name titles coming soon, but this new IP intrigues me more than any of the others ever could…

6] Wolfenstein: The New Order

This game at least looks awesome and beautiful if nothing else. I think it actually has a pretty promising story, and from what I’ve heard thus far, it’s seeming to shape up quite nicely…

7] Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

I’m actually looking forward to this game. It seems to add some new things to the franchise, which is quite nice, and it even expounds upon the naval combat as well, which is an excellent idea. All in all, I think it will at least have some competent multiplayer and a nice story. Oh, and did I forget to mention you can wrestle and kill sharks?
