My GIO 30/30- Day Fourteen

[As Read on GIO.]

[Titled: Video Game Art]

Today’s blog is rather a simple one- a short one in fact. A single question. And yet it is so much more overdramatized and more complex than any lengthy amount of words I could write or throw together. And from the title of this blog, you might have guessed it. I’m working on a poll of sorts right now for gaming resources and such, and you guys will sort of serve as my guinea pigs- should you be willing of course, as I am not forcing you. Simply leave a response here with your answer and support it however you wish, for whichever side you represent. There are essentially three main views as I see it. VG as art, VG as not are, and VG as a hybrid of the two. Anyway, the question…

“Should video games be considered universally as an art form and medium, or rather, should video game art be considered “true” art?”

I look forward to your responses, should you deign to bestow them upon me today, and I thank you for at least taking the time to read through this miniscule writing. Have an excellent day folks.
